Voice Actor of ‘Rudolph’ fame Dies at 91
The Associated Press reports that Larry D. Mann, who provided the voice over of Yukon Cornelius in the animated Christmas movie Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, has passed away of age-related causes at age 91.
Mann’s career was spread across four decades. Mann got his first break when a friend, actor Don Harron, pointed him out to producer Norman Jewison.
Gunsmoke, Bewitched and Hill Street Blues were all part of his credits working on television.
Mann appeared in more than 20 movies, with roles in The Sting and In the Heat of the Night.
His son says Mann’s last acting role was playing a talent agent in the 1991 TV show Homefront.
